3. How We Use Your Information
Product information (title, price, identifiers) extracted from the page you are viewing is sent to the DiscountDeal.in API solely to find matching products and return price comparison data. This data is:
- Cached locally in your browser for up to 30 minutes to reduce repeated API calls.
- Not stored permanently on our servers.
- Not used for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose other than price comparison.
If you choose to set a price drop alert, your email address and the associated product information are stored in our database to send you notifications. You can unsubscribe from alerts at any time using the Extension’s toggle or by contacting us.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. The product data extracted from your browser is transmitted only to the DiscountDeal.in server (our own infrastructure) for price comparison purposes.

- Remove price alerts: Toggle off alerts in the Extension or email us to delete your data.
- Uninstall: Removing the Extension deletes all locally stored data. Server-stored alert data can be deleted upon request.
- Data deletion request: Email us at the address below to request deletion of any data we hold.

The Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
